Build an AI or software product with a clear delivery scope.

SWSAM helps organisations develop AI and software products around defined user needs. We connect product scoping, application engineering and integration, with the delivery responsibilities and evaluation criteria agreed for the engagement.

Discuss a product development project

Define the product before expanding the build

Start with the intended users, the problem they need to solve and the workflow that would make the product useful. Identify what must be demonstrated in an initial version and which ideas can wait.

Discuss discovery and prototyping, interface and application development, AI components and integration needs. We agree the engineering scope around the product rather than assuming that every phase or support responsibility is included.

Make the delivery boundary explicit

A product project needs clear decisions about inputs, data access, integrations, permissions, environments and ownership of handover tasks. For AI components, define where human review and evaluation belong.

Deployment arrangements, documentation, handover and any ongoing support are included only as agreed in the engagement. The initial discussion should identify dependencies and the work owned by your organisation or other suppliers.

Use the product portfolio as a starting point

Explore the existing SWSAM products to understand the portfolio, or discuss building a separate product for your use case. A custom engineering engagement and access to a SWSAM platform are different commercial and delivery routes.

Related AI development, computer vision, governance and security services can inform the project where their scope is relevant. We define those responsibilities explicitly rather than treating every capability as an automatic part of the build.

Questions before you start

Can we begin with a prototype?
Discuss the question the prototype should answer, the users involved and the evidence needed to decide whether to progress.
Does this include every stage of development and support?
The engagement specifies the delivery stages, integration work, deployment, handover and support responsibilities that are included.
