Turn document content into a usable workflow.

SWSAM develops document intelligence workflows that connect document capture and text extraction to validation and downstream systems. Scope the work around the documents your organisation actually processes and the decisions the extracted information supports.

Discuss document intelligence

Start with the documents and required fields

Identify the document families, layouts, languages and fields needed by the receiving workflow. Discuss typed, scanned or photographed inputs and how variations will be evaluated.

The project scope should identify which inputs are covered and which need a separate review. Arabic or mixed-language requirements, field rules and output formats are confirmed against representative samples before delivery commitments are made.

Extraction is part of the process

A useful document workflow also needs a way to handle missing fields, ambiguous information and failed validation. Define where people review exceptions and who approves information before it enters another system.

We discuss extraction, validation and integration as parts of one workflow. The specific connectors, system access, deployment arrangements and handling of retained files are agreed for the engagement.

Evaluate the result before scaling

Prepare representative samples and expected results for the selected fields. Agree how extraction quality and exception handling will be assessed, including cases where a result should be referred for review.

Explore Hyper-i for the existing product route, or discuss a custom document-processing application here. The scope of a development project is agreed separately from the features of a product.

Questions before you start

Does a generic OCR demonstration establish support for our documents?
Your document types, languages, layouts and required fields need to be evaluated within an agreed scope.
What helps an initial scoping discussion?
A document inventory, permitted representative samples, required fields, expected output format and a description of the receiving business process.
